Host medals
Bronze, Silver and Gold medals recognize hosts who consistently offer great stays. Punta Stays awards them automatically, with the same rules for everyone: they can’t be bought or requested.
Levels and requirements
To earn a level, a host must meet all of its conditions over the last 12 months:
| Level | Minimum rating | Reviews | Completed stays |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze Host | ★ 4.5 | 3 | 3 |
| Silver Host | ★ 4.7 | 10 | 10 |
| Gold Host | ★ 4.85 | 25 | 25 |
How they’re calculated
- Only published reviews from guests who stayed at one of the host’s properties count.
- Only confirmed stays that have already ended count; cancelled ones don’t.
- The period is rolling: it always looks at the last 12 months, so a medal can be earned, upgraded or lost over time.
- Medals are re-checked automatically whenever a new review is published.
Ratings and medals
- A property’s rating appears from its third review; before that it shows as “New”.
- The average on a listing includes every review ever, while the medal only looks at the recent period — so the two numbers may differ.
- Medals don’t change the order of search results.
